ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND MEDICATION

TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD. is committed to the health and safety of its employees, contractors, customers, the public and the environment. To this end, TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD. makes every reasonable effort to minimize risks associated with its operations and to promote a safe, healthy and productive work environment. TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD. recognizes that the use of illicit drugs and the misuse of alcohol, medications, or other substances can have adverse effects on the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, customers, the public, and the environment. The objective of this policy is to minimize the risk of unsafe performance due to substance use by all workers.

Policy Effective Date: JANUARY 1,2001

This policy was reviewed and updated on May 21, 2010

In order to minimize the risk of unsafe performance, due to substance use, the following work rule apply to all workers who are performing work for TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD.

Workers agree not to:
• Work or report for work with an alcohol (ethanol), drug or medication level that exceeds the testing Guidelines, as set out in this policy;
• Use or posses any alcohol, drugs while on company premises;
• Offer for sale any alcohol, drugs or medications while on company premises.
• Refuse to comply with a request to submit to .an Alcohol Of Drug Test as provided in this policy;
• Tamper with or hide any sample given for the purpose of Alcohol and Drug Testing under this policy.

Safety-Sensitive Work
TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD. management will determine what services constitute Safety Sensitive Work: as per the attached Appendix. This type of work will have both of the following characteristics:
1. A key and direct role in any operation where impaired performance could result in an accident affecting the health & safety of TREE TECH ENTERPRISES LTD. employees, contractors, customers, the public or the environment:
2. No Direct or Limited supervision available to provide frequent operational checks.

RISK-SENSITIVE WORK

Sensitive work
